Mobile Tech RX vs CCC One Estimating Software
Dentless Touch PDR workshop Mobile Tech RX vs CCC One Estimating Software

We've been a Mobile Tech RX user since 2017, with four Dentless Touch locations using it; invested we are. Last year we decided to expand to small-medium conventional body shop repairs alongside PDR. which explains the need for a more accurate and reliable estimate software with more useful features to aid in the expansion of Dentless Touch. I’ve looked at several estimating systems such as Mitchell, Autotech, and CCC.

Let me explain, we vendor out any paintwork and bodywork we cannot handle. So the process goes like this. The customer drops off his car schedule date, and we do all the teardowns and write a complete estimate. Then we submit to both parties customer/ insurance. Communication is done through our office manager. Then we move forward by selecting one of the three in-network body shops we have contracts with, and so far, the contracts are 20% off any jobs we send to them. This is currently right around 30% of our total business revenue and climbing fast. In the past, we submitted pictures and needed information to the said vendor, and they produced estimates within 48 to 72 hours. After 3 weeks of launching this service, we noticed the wait to supply an estimate was too long and getting longer as we were not a priority. This wasn't going to work for the long haul. So this brings us back to the need for a body shop-focused estimating system.
